ahhh! I just got Ubot and I’m just loving it! Aaron, thanks a million for all your tutorials and free bots [it makes newbies like myself learn pretty fast]….and yeah, i’d like to subscribe to get updates on this particular bot [or any other bot for that matter!

Hi Aaron,

For some reason the bot gives up an error message – stopping on ‘save to file’ command $document folder – posted URLs?? the blog I am testing it with is running WP v 2.92 Any ideas?

* Category field (my network of blogs uses the same categories)

Aaron: Bought Ubot a few days ago (through your link) and have realized already that this is a pretty powerful piece of software for those of us that are not heavy programmers. It seems to be pretty easy to pick up but, unfortunately, the new version doesn’t quite jive with most of the videos, which makes the learning curve a bit more challenging (but not impossible).

My main sticking point is about solving captcha. I’m using Google as my place to learn by trying to create a Google Account maker. My bot navigates to Google, selects “Sign In” then clicks the “Create New Account” link on the next page. I have it doing everything right until it hits the captcha. I’ve followed the videos and decided to use the choose and change attributes way of solving but when I “Choose by Attribute” there doesn’t seem to be any attribute that is generic in value for the bot to pull the image from. I can get it to show the image using value or inner/outer html but that’s only good for the captcha showing a that moment. As soon as trhe page refreshes, none of those are good any more. I’ve tried to pull from the source code of the page and can’t find anything that will work. There is no ID or Name that I can find.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something simple? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just bought Ubot, great tool by the looks of it. Thanks for sharing some great tutorals. I know you’re probably busy but a video showing the basics of this Bot would be cool if you can. Also, any update on the blogger support?

I know it’s been a number of months but I’m wondering if you might do a video of how this bot was made. I’ve looked at the source code but I am completely retarded when it comes to programming and I’m still struggling through the learning curve with ubot.

I would love to make a bot that posts to multiple free blog platforms and web 2.0 sites and seeing how you built this bot would help me figure out how to do some of the things that I have in mind.
