Comments on: Ezinearticle to WordPress Bot

I just downloaded this, and AVG gave me a warning that a threat was detected:

Trojan horse Generic19.BPAP.

I tried running this tool on another system running IE8 and winxp 32 but it gave the index errors similar to what was mentioned in the thread. I got this notice about the threat when I installed it to another system that had IE7 on it when I read some of the comments here.

Thus far, I cannot get this working without infecting my PC. Aaron.. anybody?

Please tell me can you make Bot to scrape Articles in .txt exstension

How is this “Ezinearticle to WordPress Bot” since it doesnt generate unique content and google can penalize you for that. I thought. Also I don’t think that this bot is good for SEO and how would it generate traffic in wordpress if I wanted to advertise affiliate links etc.?

hi it would be great if you could have this bot also working on other blog services besides wordpress ,for example blogger.com is this possible to make this as well this would be great to have a bot that could handle this to scrape articles and post it on other blog services

The tool doesn’t pull the titles of the articles still.

Great tool. Well done. I work on foreign language sites so I have a slightly different mod required.

Would you be able to create a ubot for me that will translate the Ezinearticle using Google Translation Services before posting to WordPress. I will make a nice donation for this.

I updated the .exe and .ubot to work with IE8. It also works with blog.wordpress.com sites also.

EzineArticles banned my IP….whoops! I’m working on a proxy fix and should have a revision posted soon if I can get to it. I have it staticly done, but it would be nice if you could paste a text list of proxies it would randomly pick from each run or something.

Less likely of getting banned this way.
